Does anyone know where I can find an online map that displays elevations. If it's kind of a 3d type thing that would be great also.

I'll give Luke a call and see what he has. I was actually going to install one, just not in the front seat area

Here's a better one with a map of Nevada.

This is something we should jump on sooner than later.

The hotel that everyone stays at is the Silverland Inn and Suites.

http://www.silverlandusa.com/

It's where everything takes place. Driver's meetings are around 730 and they provide breakfast. I believe cost per night was around $120.

I'm open to staying at another hotel, but since its in the middle of the mountains, its literally a 30 min drive out, then another 10-15 mins to a hotel. Reno and Sparks is about a 45 min drive from Virginia City.

I'm curious what kind of pricing Marriott would do (dropped from gold to silver couple months ago)

I'll reach out to Marriott and see what they will do for us. Keeping in mind the time it takes to travel into town (gas) the savings might be mitigated.

Now about that secure parking...

Car were fine last year; cant remember if they had security in the parking lot or night. There havent been any issues before. The sheriffs station is a couple mins away and its a really small town. Never thought about it though..............
