Angry AAC HID MESS.

So got my AAC HID kit in today. Came with no directions what so ever, just a receipt and a print out asking to give them good feedback on ebay.

SO i used this thread here as a reference. http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=69917

I ended up just figuring out my own method. (no particular order)
1) place the new hid in headlight (leave the red o ring on it?) it goes in easy without it and i could seem to get it with the o ring on. am i wrong on this?
2) wired a ground to the frame and a power to my fuse box
3) plugged the two male and female into each other from the ballast to the hid's
4)left the drivers side headlight plug disconnected (green connector)
5)plugged the passenger side into the hid harness

end of story i have HID's that come on and off
and i have SEVERAL un-used open wires and connectors just dangling under the hood.

not the best pics i will post more but these are some of the open ended un-used wires i still have.
WTF!

the HIDs need the ballasts to work so i am stumped why yours are even working without the ballasts. those plug wires that you pictured look like they plug into the ballasts, you should have a wire that plugs into the factory harness, then from there one of the plugs go into your ballast and the other one goes from your hid to your ballast for power. don't quote me i am going from memory from 2 yrs. ago when i firts did HID on my tacoma. best of luck, IMO get some help from local members, hell even from other car clubs. its easy as heck from someone who has done it before.
