I'm doing some stuff to my LPO VR Engine Cover this week... I'll post pictures when it is completed.

I think it is going to look really good.

Has anyone else bought the Billet Aluminum Autobot Oil Cap? Is yours hard to put on and take off?

Skyman 08-I have the Mobil 1 oil cap...pretty sure it's the same company and YES it is a very tight fit. Nothing wrong I think just tight. I havn't had any leaks since I changed the oil.

Here's the Engine cover I did last weekend...my first paint mod. Not the most perfect tape/lines but hey...I did it myself!

The oil cap is the same as mine, I compared it to the factory one and noticed the factory one has a tapered grove and not a sharp edge, so I took My dremel tool and made mine tapered like the factory one and now it fits much better.
I love that center emblem you have, where did you get it?

I've been searching and have not found one like it...

I also found if you lubricate the O ring on the oil cap with a little oil, it will also make it easier to turn it...

I took my oil Cap off, After driving it the other day I was going to take it off and it was so hot it almost burned my fingers when I touched it.. When i got it off I could only hold on to it for a few seconds before putting it down and letting it cool off.. I think that is one reason GM made theirs out of plastic.. No heat soak...

Good point Skyman! Replaced mine with a chrome cap as well.
