Not sure. I'm going to be doing mine in the spring. It's definitely an involved process. I'm basically removing half my rear anyways so I figured I might as well rip the whole thing out.

$1K just for labor is outrageous. It took me about 1.5 hours to remove the rear cradle using jackstands. Cut out the old bushings and remove from subframe and replace 2 - 3 hours and then re-install the cradle, I would probably put that number between $600 or less at $100/hr shop rate...I don't know that sounds high. This was not on a lift...I think with a lift the R&R of the cradle would be quicker for sure. I don't know what the shop rates are where you are at?

A shop that has the right tool for removal can be done in a couple hours max. The rear doesn't need to come out, just lower the pumpkin while protecting the axle boots where they rest on the frame when lowered.

I do most of the work myself and have most of the tools to do the work right also, just don't have a lift to make things a little faster. $1K is high for that job.

Come on Synner, you usually pay better attention than that! Not diff bushings, Cradle bushings. (I will give you the fact that it is in the rear end section, and not the suspension section) The cradle will need to come out, or atleast get dropped a good bit to get the old bushings out. A shop that is familiar with the job should be able to have it done within 4 hrs or so, especially if you are only doing cradle bushings.
