Kenne Bell BAP or MSD BAP
Any advantage to either? They look remarkably similar so maybe it's a moot point.
Open to opinions from anyone who might know. |

I'm not totally useless..

Well the trick comes down to proper wiring of the unit as well as some other things that can be done by some shops.
I would recommend you call Ted @ Jannetty Racing Enterprises he has some tricks up his sleeve on the MSD unit... He is a vendor here and a straight up guy willing to take time out of his day to simply answer questions: http://www.jannettyracing.com/contact_us.shtml

What HP are each rated for? I think I need to get a BAP or Double Fuel pump, defiantly looking at the cheaper option.

They are not rated for a particular HP that I am familiar with, they only boost the existing pump... I have the dual fuel pump and the KB BAP... I'm good for at least 900 HP. We haven't pushed the new motor far enough to determine where the pressures fall off, but we will be before too long...
As recommeneded above, contact Ted and see what he has to say... He is producing amazing results for customers and great support for the curious... Also as mentioned, there are some tricks to wiring in either one to work properly... The computer will defeat it if not done properly... netting you nothing... All that having been said, I am venturing the dual fuel pump would be most advantageous... for you, not knowing what other mods you have... Seeing that you have the HPE set-up, are you sure you still have the factory fuel pump... was it possibly upgraded when the car was modded... While the fuel tank is out, since they have to drop the rear cradle, look at some suspension upgrades if you're interested, and kill two birds with one stone...
