GM said the Camaro will not be entering NASCAR. It had something to do with making the car look like garbage and GM wasn't willing to do that. You guys that have seen NASCAR know that you wouldn't drive a brick on wheels. Would you want to be reminded of how ugly NASCAR vehicles are every time you look at the Camaro?

I don't see the value of Camaro participating in NASCAR. It surely has not proven to increase sales for the cars involved. Who really gave a crap about the Luminas and Monte's that were campaigned? Nobody. Besides, if it looked anything like that Mustang abortion shown above, YUCK.

This is just like NHRA there is nothing Mustang or challenger about the cars but the body.

I dont care if they put the cobalt out there.......every car is the same car by not seeing Camaro its not going to hurt anything.

for the record dan3 is just closed minded pretending that he can embrace economic, marketing and physics issues, when in reality he may be a low end mechanics helper at best, just becuase you can pass the tools doesn't mean you can grasp futuristic concepts which are comming right around the corner and hybrid is right around the bend....also if you need to hear sounds, you can program the muffler speaker to put out any sound you like....or no sound as in the sounds of silence which some here would be better qualified to offer....
