Whistle from the vent blower motor

Has anyone else had any issues with a whistle coming from the vent blower motor? It seems to make the noise more on a steady 65mph speed then in town driving at lower speeds. I have an appointment with the dealer to take a look at it, but figured I would ask as well.

Yes I get a noise from the blower, Its only when its on fresh air. Turn it to recirculate and wait 10 sec see if it goes away. Let me know what the dealer says

I drove to about 2200 miles last week, and it was driving me nuts, I had it off and on the recirculate depending on the outside temps. I will post the dealer findings when they are done.

subscribed. I have the same problem, and have found that if I turn the blower all the way up (few secs) and then back down to the original position it goes away for a while. Interested in what dealer has to say.

The part just came in today, not looking forward to this fix, but the blower motor is what they came up with. I am not sure what all is involved in replacing it, but I would think the dash may have to be taken apart. I hope they put it back together correctly, I do not want any squeaks down the road. I will let you all know when they are done.

I would hope not, but it is a 1st year car, so I do accept some level of issues, as long as they are minor.

Yesterday I took my car in for the first oil change and some warranty checks (before the blower).

I had a noise that followed the rpms.....They diagnosed that as a new valve update I believe in the heater core.
They didn't figure out the other noise from the a/c. They thought since they were going to take apart the dash that would be a good time to address the other noise.... If the blower motor fixes the issue please let me know.....

Will do. Were was the noise coming from, it may be something I want them to look at while they are in there.

I noticed yesterday with the A/C on and the pasenger left and right vents closed I get a wistle. If I jiggle the left pasenger vent I can get it to stop.
