It has NEP vvt cam, hand ported stock heads, Rick Crawford modified stock intake manifold, ARH 1 7/8 long tube headers, Circle D triple disc converter, 1le stock differential, NEP OTR intake. It also has some weight reduction as well, removed front pass seat, back seats, front sway bar, front bumper support, and NEP custom aluminum axle back exhaust.
What you hear in 3rd gear is the converter locking, I ramp in the lock up so instead of sounding like a shift and loading up, the rpms just rev slower as the car accelerates faster in 3rd gear as the line pressure applies to the lock up clutches. Thanks for the nice comments! |

Search Rick Crawford Racing on facebook, it works. The intake I am using right now isn't even ported which is worth another 5hp, we are just so busy I haven't had time to do it. I also want to try some race gas soon, it's just straight 93 pump gas right now.
Last time it was on the dyno it made 498 rwhp. |

I'll will second that the RCR intake is a must do mod. Excellent choice to make.

I found it to be a nice difference especially in the midrange acceleration. When are we going to see a deal on the OTR intake?? Hint!

LOL Ryan! I know, it's driving me crazy! I am going to try the MS109 and hopefully that is just enough to get me into 10.7x's.

10.83 pass was at Atco or Etown and I'm pretty sure Cartek ran open headers too.
