Moderations.
Wussup all, Im currently deployed but will be making my way home in 3 weeks. I have a 2011 camaro 1ss Cyber Gray ( pictures coming soon ) and im looking to make some moderations on it, part performance, part cosmetic.
looking to add: I want to add the black pinstripes on the outsides of the top, to resemble that of the TF3 "bumblebee" strips. A PDIM I want to add a high wing spoiler - but i have a factory spoiler on it. is it still possible for the high wing to be added to my Camaro? Whats the recommended exhaust to invest in? i was looking at the GM perfomance exhaust, im looking for a lil more speed not that much and the growling sound when im driving. |

From what I was told about the Highwing spoiler is that you will need to order a new trunk lid without the holes drilled from the previous spoiler. Not sure if that is the only way, just what my dealer told me when I looked into doing it. As for the exhaust, It's really best to do a little bit of youtube research.
You are going to hear a wide variety of sound and drone from all the different brands. From what I can tell you are going to be looking more towards the magnaflow sound but depending on volume you may even want to go with just a basic muffler delete. There really is no one recommended exhaust system just a bunch of personal preferences!

You can add the high wing but you will either need a new trunk lid, or a good body shop to fill the extra holes.
As for the exhaust, do not buy the GMPP. There are so many great options for the SS that sound better and cost significantly less. If you like the GMPP exahust, look into magnaflow or Borla. I will say though, the SLP Loudmouth exhausts sound great on the SS and are much cheaper. Again, you have tons of options that will sound better, perform better, and cost less that GMPP. Also, I appreciate your service!

Yea im took wakemakers89 advice and youtube alot of different exhaust and The borla exhaust for the SS sounded awesome and really along the lines of what im looking for havent heard the magnaflow yet.
researched the trunk lid also, its around 500 to get a new trunk then i have to calculate labor and the additional high wing. gonna compare that to just purchasing the high wing having it installed and covering up the other holes. does anyone kno of a good shop in the central texas area? |

Thank you for your service!!
You can also find someone with a LS and trade your trunk lid for theirs. They will be more than happy and you'll be set.

Oh, yeah, I have a Borla Attak for my SS, and a Airaid Cold air. Put down 400 at the rear wheels on the dyno several months back.
