in your opinion....
learn to use that line...it helps the challenger to me looks better cuz it doesnt clutter the entire car up with lines and fish gills and what not. The camaro looks great but to me the challenger looks better IMO. |

Some people just like the broad-side of a barn styling that is the Challenger. Mmm, taste the bland.

You should put that in your sig for future reference. Just joking.
The Challenger and the Camaro are both agressive in their own different ways. To me the real downside of the Challenger design is the color choices. Ok, that's not really a design thing, but it kind of is. The orange that is on the Challenger is pretty cool, but it hides some aspects of the design. From some angles, the Challenger looks liek it is just... well... flat along the sides. I saw one up close and in person a couple days ago (the thing is quite large) and it actually has very subtle rear fender bulges (hips), simular to the Camaro, just not as nearly as pronouced as the Camaro. I think that if the Challenger cam in the same silver as the Camaro, some of this would be more visble (but still too flat-ish though). I've never seen a 5th gen in person (unfortunately), but from the butt load of pictures that I've seen, there isnt a color on this planet that could cover up the lines on the car. It's the opposite for the Challenger (just about EVERY color, expect silver and maybe white, covers the lines, because they were dumbed down from the original concept), and that is where the design falls short. Plus I kinda wish the was some kind of badging on the side of the Chally, like the badge on the concept. Camaro still trumps the Challenger in my book *IN MY OPINION*

Posting the comparative made me think about a shooting accuracy insult: "You couldn't hit the broad side of a barn." The Challenger looks huge even though it is roughly the same size as the Camaro because it has no lines to break up that plain, barn-like side. Even the door handles are flat and consistent with the plain shape of the Challenger's side. I can see arguments about how that improve aerodynamics holding weight. I can further see that the rear bumper shape and rear corner windows look similar; however, the Challenger will have a significantly larger blind spot and that it looks impotent with that droopy trunk shape. In any case, there are substantial differences between the broadside Challenger and the angular Camaro.
On a side not, I never say "in my opinion" except to say that I never say "in my opinion." That is because I only say facts and am always right. I flame you for disagreeing in advance.

My bad in my opinion, also in my opinion the challenger just looks to plan, not saying i don't like it, it does look good, just think the camaro has a more appealing look to it. Now the mustang is very bland(FACT)
