Try to find a 2013 1LE or order a 2014 1LE

I have been trying to find a 2013 1LE and about to give up. What would you guys recommend? I love the 2014 front ends, but not crazy about the taillights. I rather have the 2013 taillights. Therefore I am not sure if I should still try to track one down or just preorder the 2014.

Does anyone know if the 1500 rebate will work on a 2014 model? What would you do if you were me?

I would get a 2013 personally. There are plenty out there although you may have to get it from a dealer far away.

My vote is for the 13. There out there, just have to search for them. I drove 1000 miles round trip to get mine.

From a mechanical stand point the 2014 are going to be a better car. Heat Extractor in the hood that will also add down force and a rear spoiler that looks to be more functional (adds more down force) and better seats if you want to step up and pay for them.

On the other hand the 2013s a lot of people think look better and you can get them at a better price, also a one year only car in that its the first year for the 1LE and last year old body style . The thing about going with a 2013 your stuck with how the car was ordered .

Your the only one that can pick what the most important to you.

2ss, Victory Red, 1LE, RS, with Navigation. My local dealer is attempting to trade for some at the moment, however I am not certain any dealer will trade these away.

If they can't trade for one, then I will probably just order me a 2014. Love the front end, do not like the taillights, but the new color information system and HUD are really nice. It doesn't look like a 1990 Silverado in the dash.

Did they have any 1LEs at your dealership? I'm almost positive that no other dealer will trade unless they'll get a 1LE in return. I was in the same boat as you a few months ago when I was trying to order a 13, but was passed the deadline. However, good luck!

I was you. Yes you can get a better deal on a '13 (usually). I was going to order a 2014 1LE but then saw an IOM 1LE and had to have it. No IOM in 2013 sealed the deal.

I do like the 2014 looks as much as the 2013. No mailslot and a more aggressive front end. To me the back end is a wash. The 2013 looks too tall and the 2014 looks a little bland.

I did want the Recaros but they are over priced. And I would bet you can buy them later as a retro fit. Now I can wait and see if they are comfortable on long trips before I purchase. If tracking was a first priority, I would have gotten the 2014 with Recaros and went with the 1SS. Overall, I think I saved enough on the '13 to get the 2SS for free. But of course the '14 would be one model year newer.

You can't lose.

Yeah my dealer already tried to trade for three of them, 2 was sold, and the other the dealer claim was sold but was not. They are reaching out to a few more. They do not have a 1LE to trade for, so my confidence is not great. I will order a 2014 if that is the case.

Have them contact Dan Vaden Chevrolet in Brunswick, GA. They have a white 1LE and yellow 1LE as of Saturday. The white one may be going to a NJ dealership. Have your guys ask for Angie Niece. Good luck!

2014 all the way. Once i seen a non RS i was sold its awesome. 2SS 1LE non RS with the recaro's is a winner imo.
