Could be a decent place to hide small expensive stuff so nobody breaks into your car, but not much use otherwise unless you have interest in attempting to fit rear passengers in so you can collect some change every time you floor it.
I was thinking that it may be a good place to stash my wheel lock key.

For OEM Sunroofer - well mine does.

Take a damp cloth and wipe the inside of the sunroof.....some muriel of the sort is etched into the entire sunroof not visible without moisture......

just noticed this .....what the hell is that anyway?

I can find what i think it is, but it's on both sides and covered by a portion of the seat, seems like you'd mangle any paperwork you store in there since essentially you are cramming shit under your back seat.

unless i found the wrong compartments?
I would, but then it wouldn't be a secret!

i realized this when we first got ours on accident. I thought I was in my BMW (which has this feature) and did it. Made me even more excited about the car than i already was.

I noticed a couple things:

If you have an automatic with the remote start option, you cannot remote start the car with the hood open. If the car was remote started and you open the hood, the car will shut off.

In the config settings accessible on the factory radio, you can make it so that the car will not lock unless all the doors are closed. This prevents you from locking your key in the car by accident.

Light/horn sequence for lock/unlock/alarm on FOB , is also configurable through radio.
For those of us that can't figure it out, have a teenager do it !!

not a safety issue, it's an anti theft issue. Also you cannot put the car in gear until you put the key in and turn it.

How can you lock your keys in the car if the doors are not all closed?

The keys would still have to be out of the ignition. And the car will lock after about a 10 second delay after closing the door if you hit the lock button before closing the door. It will also lock immediately if you hit the lock button twice even with the door open.

That's exactly the point.. it's a toggle on the config of the car..

Otherwise, you can lock the car by pushing the lock down on the door as you exit the vehicle.. this will lock the passenger side as well. If you are in an underground garage, OnStar won't be able to unlock it for you if you left the key in the car.

Enabling this option forces you to lock the car once the doors are closed via the remote key fob or by using the actual keyhole.

Just saying the option is there for those who wish to enable it.
