That was before GM said they've killed northstar replacement.Rumors are that GM don't have any V8 DOHC engine in the works. So GEN V engine is probably CIB (or like most people call it OHV) not OHC.

Well there is patent for 3 valve DI ohv engine.

Who knows what is GM now planing on doing. If it is true corvette should come around 2012 (and this new GEN V should come with new vette if rumors are correct)..that is almost 4 years from now.
