Incorrect for Camaro. The ACDelco filter is the exact same manufacturer as the factory one. At least it was 3 months ago when I changed the ones out in the CTS and 2010. And the factory one for 2010 CTS and 2010 Camaro is NOT carbon style. Just a plain, white filter. Albeit different part numbers. Why? That's anyone's guess.

Did the dealer sell you the AC-Delco ones? Most dealer will not stock the OEM's as there more expensive.

I've put 1900 miles on mine the first year. No way am I buying a new cabin filter until it shows signs of being dirty.

That low of miles, I agree.
On the other hand, it's a cheap $12 to keep your filter clean.

Under your passenger side of your hood. Page 1 or 2 has a video. Mine got changed this summer. Nasty stuff in there! About 40,000 miles. Will be the first thing I change every spring when it comes back out to play!

You can go to ZHEHAN filter company to find a similar product, and then ask the answer to this question.

The OEM filter has carbon in it and when new, looks like the OP photo.

I replaced mine after 60,000 miles. It didn't have a lot of debris in it, but it smelled musty. I got the OEM replacement from Summit, because the dealer didn't have one.

I would recommended everyone to get the K&N reusable cabin air filter for our camaros. It came out a couple years ago. Worth the money

Checked mine today and although not as bad as some have posted pictures of, I went ahead and replaced it. I've used microgard cabin filters before and they seem to do a good job so that's what I used in my Camaro.

Yea the OEM one in mine was a carbon filter which looked black but was actually clean when you open the pleats and look between them. Most folks think it dirty and replace it with a cheaper filter that doesn’t filter odor like the Carbon filters do. I replaced mine with a K&N filter with 30k Plus on the clock. I put the OEM filter in the box and put it up on the shelf as it was not used up. Never know when it may come in handy.
