what are your goals and future use? I absolutely LOVE my AAM 3.91's which is what GM uses and allowed me to practically drop them in...kept my stock posi but threw in a Ford S spring(self mod) for drag racin...my understanding trutrac better suited for track but heck what do I know.

thanks frank, going to do street/cross country driving. 6th is alittle low on the rpm for me. the old Harley days the mechanics used to say that the v-twin four stroke sweet spot was between 25k and 35k sustained rpm for running smoothly. drove the old ladies caddy at 85-90 mph for 100 miles the other day and it got better gas mileage than going 70-80 mph/ 23k rpm. so there seems to be truth to it.

I am pretty sure the TruTrac fits any ratio that fits on the OE SS Limited Slip carrier. If that's a ZL1 3.73 it's a no-go, but if it's an aftermarket for the 218mm SS rear it should fit a TruTrac fine.

I am going to lower my car. Are these bushings used to raise the diff or lower it? I haven't looked at my axles and such yet, when under load is the wheel side actually going higher than the diff side? I am used to the wheel side usually being lower than the diff on other cars so I thought lowering the car would actually already help the angle. Does it have the opposite effect on our cars?

Yes, the axles angle up when sitting.
