P0303 Code

My car has been at the dealership for 2 days
Code P0303 is cylinder 3 misfire. They have ruled out everything from computer, injectors coils plugs wires all electrical.
Service Stabiltrak would light up and check engine light flash and turn off after 20 seconds or so with a hard acceleration. But I have no loss of power.
I can reproduce this same code with a hard acceleration everytime.
They have an internalist specialist looking at it tommorow.
This is a 2ss/rs A6 23K miles
Anybody else have any answers or had similiar issues resolved on the V8?
Most of the searches I have done nobody really lets anyone know what the final problem was but I can see where others have had a similiar issue.
I did see a Service Bulletin on the head gasket but looks like it is #8 cylinder
Thanks for any information I can get.

Loss of spark could be so many things. These engines are known for carbon build up which can cause spark knock. How many miles on her, and do you use a catch can/use seafoam?

If you did not remove the plugs when doing the header install, one could be cracked. Same if you removed them, you could have dropped one. Whenever I see this after a header install it is the first thing I think of.

It's elementary, and the dealership should know this, but have they done a cam/crank relearn?

I got code p0303. Switch sparkplug , coil and cable from cylinder 3 to cylinder 1 to see if the code would transfer to cylinder 1, but it did not. What else could it be? I did the screwdriver test to see if the fuel injector was firing (ticking sound) like the rest and it does. What else could it be? Any help would be apriciated. Battery voltage when cars off it's about 12.5 (around there) , when running it's around 14.something. HELP!!!!!!
