2017 Camaro Under Glove Door Air Bag
Hello, I was trying to remove my HMI for my 8" display and while under there the was at the time I did not know but it's right under the glove box and it's the passenger side air bag (from what I read after) and so I was carful and removed the 2 bolts and set it to the left that made it much easier to pull down the tray that holds the HMI. As the Car Audio shop did not put back the 2 front bolts but anyways can I just put it back with the 2 bolts as I am waiting for a new HMI unit so I am concerned of course if I get hi at 35 or higher it will go off and it's not secured?
Any suggestions please? Thanks Christopher |

Don't mess around with the airbags when the battery is connected. That is rule #1.
Don't drive around with airbag or SRS systems not connected or not fully secured. That is rule #2. No exceptions to rules #1 and #2 unless you don't need or don't expect insurance coverage.
