All I need is a good scholarship to college, and I should be set for a Camaro.

I would be willing to give up my left testicle, but it looks like I will only have to sacrifice money for it.

Best advise I can give any one is to "spend" your money not WASTE it on things you don't need and end up collecting dust in the garage. With that said I will be sacrificing my wife's shopping $$$, her lexus and her stylist $$$, she'll be an ugly pissed off wife but in the end I'll have the Camaro. SS Black/Black no sroof

Well not as hard of a plan to accomplish. Give my wife my near brand new 06 Avalanche. Smells new/ never smoked, eaten or drank in. Three years old with only 21000 miles. Take my wifes POS Kia and trade it on on a v6 with the RS package. Plan on getting in early 2010. Thats a whole year to start putting in more OT and putting into a side account. IRS Refund (always 5 to 6k), Yes I am one of those chumps that let uncle sam borrow my money all year interest free and reclaim it at tax time. But with a wife and three kids that money would sit very long in the cookie jar now would it. So I am thinking at most I will be looking at a $25K RS MSRP and that equates into my past buying experiences of about $22k (never paid MSRP, ever) minus trade (4k if lucky)and about $10k down and financing anyware from 8 to 9 K for 4 yrs at aroung 215 month at worst case senerio. The only sacrifice will be waiting till 2010 to get it.

I find it interesting that people will sacrifice a lot for their rides.
My car is paid off, but the wife's car still has another 2 yrs to go. I'm not a fan of dual car payments, so I'll wait for the 2012 model year and hope that the Z-28 is out by then. If my car dies an untimely death, then I will be forced to get the Camaro earlier. Must resist the urge to sabotage my own car... |

I may have to work another year to pay it off.
Reduce my fleet from five cars to four! LOL

I am fortunate to have an above average income. I just havent decided whether to trade my girlfriends '07 Eclipse or my '06 Colorado that I added $11,000 to after I bought it. Either way, I will be putting down at least 30-40%. Only sacrifice here will be higher insurance for an SS.

Will more than likely pay cash and trade in the TSX. Like above I am fortunate to be in a good paying line of work. That will finish up the car price but I am guessing I will get hammered on the insurance..

I'll have to trade in my 2006 hhr lt2. It's got every option made for that model so, I should have a good trade.... I'll have to hit my bank account for the balance.. Being an old batchlor I never had to put kids thru school so I've got some cash on hand!!!
