go to the drag strip their in muskogee and purchase 2 gallons of the 104 unleaded (sunoco 260gt plus) for every 11 gallons of 91 octane you put in your tank! thats it... an 11:2 ratio will give you a true 93 octane fuel, its what i have to do up here in tulsa!

if your not willing to spend the extra $8 per gallon of race fuel, then just install the 91 octane tune!
What is the difference between the 2. I mean how much better performance will I get if I go throught the trouble to mix the fuel? Are we talking 5-10 hp????

it all depends on if you're getting any knock retard now...

if you are, then blending the two fuels to make a higher octane may make that disappear, so yes - you will gain more power, since you won't have any knock/spark retard anymore...

but if you're not getting any knock/spark retard now, then just putting that higher octane fuel in won't do anything for ya unless you change your tune for it - i.e. increase your timing advance...

No need for custom tune with those mods, just install as is... very quick and easy... then drive for a while for the car to learn your new settings.

Of course you always have the option to run some log files and send them to someone like Jannetty for a custom tune.
