gear
He was in the right gear 2nd that is at 45 kick. I have L-99 and mine is a terror at that kick. Just the lighter stang prevailed. I pulled 360 on dyno with cai & headers. Adding diablo sport this week. I also say let the auto do its thing because the computer is faster and more precise. Thats my opinion.

I have to agree for the most part with the tap shift comments. With the tap shifts (on the A6 SS) you have to anticipate the shift. The RMP's fly up the tach so fast you have to hit the tap shift at 5300 rpms to make it shift at 5700 rpm. I've hit the rev limter on numerous occasions trying to run wide open using the tap shifts. You have to work the tap shift perfectly to match the computer. I personally don't ever use the tap shift if I'm racing. Now just playing around the tap shifts can be fun. But if a fast car pulls along side of me, I'm going to make sure the computer does the shifting. |

All of our patrol cars are older than 04 except the late model Impalas. I wouldn't even run them against my Jeep.

hahaha i agree rolling aint racing but i gave him the race he wanted and that was a 45 or 50 roll....i have been looking to run a new SS for so long i didnt care if it was from a dig or a roll but i will say this if we went from a dig you could add another car length to my margin of victory cuz i would murder that thing out of the hole with my gearing

We've got a couple 06 Vic's as well, still don't think I'd run anyone, lol. Right after I started at my current department the nightshift had a pursuit involving a v6 Chally. They say the Chally walked them until ISP showed up from the north end and boxed dude in. A v6 Chally? Okay. On with the thread.

Well here in Panhandle of Florida the FHP still has the Camaro Z/28 that thing is scary fast. And they aren't scared of catching ANYONE. I heard a roded out Saleen Mustage tried to get away...ya well that didn't work out to well.

my buddy has a sn197 car...I've hurt feelings on a few GT's around here for sure. My car, tuned, and that's it...pulled him hard above 60mph. From a dead stop the mustang was .15-.2 quicker at the track. After the TM tuning, I put .2-.3 on his best track time.

Also, you must be retarded because you have your VIN posted as well as the city you live in. It's not hard to get a copy of your key and steal your car. All you have to do is know the right people....You should do something about that... |
