I rather Chevy keep the money spent on "Thank You" letter printing and postage and give it to the workers that are loosing their job. . . The biggest thank you would be getting my camaro.

way to p*** in that cup of coffee.

the car is selling pretty good for something only a handfull of people have ever driven & won't even have in their driveways for another 5 months or so

7800 IOU's until financing goes thru and payments start being made...at best if everyone put $1000 down (and we know that isn't the case) GM's dealers have made $7,800,000. It is a pretty good pre-order # considering the majority is enthusists. The regular Joe doesn't even know GM is bringing it back, once they find out I'm sure the #'s will go up quite a bit.

I will be happy enough when my IOM 2SS/RS enters my garage. I can"t wait! I will probably sleep in it the first night.

11/14/08 2010 Camaro Early Order Program – Symbol Issue
In a little over a month, Chevrolet dealers across the country have submitted over 7800 customer orders for the new Camaro! Chevrolet is extremely pleased with this response, and we are preparing a thank you letter to all the customers who have submitted an order.

In the process of developing this letter, we have discovered an issue with some of the customer name and address information being submitted with the order. It is very important that the customer information is complete and accurate. We ask that you submit just one name with order and avoid using symbols such as “&”, “+”, “-“, “/”, etc. These symbols are causing system issues when the thank you letters are generated.

The biggest issue with these symbols is experienced when the customer’s name is added to the letter. Many orders have two customer names associated with it (for example, John & Mary Smith). In these instances we would ask that you submit only the name of the primary driver (for example, Mary Smith). The Canadian version will say " Thank you for your support, but sorry we didn't use any lube when we screwed you "........ Yeah, you guessed it, I'm a little pissed.

Nah..i'm just happy to be getting a thank you letter. You know...it's nice to get stuff like that...making it personal. I mean...it's really not going to cost GM that much to print and mail out all those letters. AND....the word of mouth that thank you letter is going to get them will be worth a lot more than 7,800 thank you letters.

Send me a thank you letter.....that makes me feel good....and I'm probably going to tell someone about it. >>>>>BAM! Another sale for GM.

I can't wait to get my letter...and there is just ONE name on the order form

so no way I am causing any issues for my letter, lol

There needs to be a sticky made for everyone to post up when they get their letter
