Driveability issue

Anyone else have an issue with a surge condition in first or second gear at a constant 2K RPM ? I don't have any codes or On-Star notifications but it is annoying

Haven't heard of anybody having this problem. Maybe you got a bad tank of gas.

Only time I had that was with the Airaid V1 before it was tuned by Trifecta... V2 doesn't do it with or without... If your getting it while it's all stock, you may have a vacuum leak somewhere. Let the dealer have a look....

Mine doesnt do it when im in gear. However, when im in park and i step it up to around 2k it does seem to pulse. Never noticed it til i put on and exhust that i could hear. Sounds like an occassional miss in the engine and you can see it on the tach. Again, it has never done it while im moving.

I have the V6 M6 and I do not have have any type of "surge". I agree it sounds like a vacuum disconnected or leaking.

Thanks Nutbutt, I'll be looking for a leak tomorrow.I'll also be checking for a flat spot in the throttle by wire system.

Have the same problem. Does a little stumble then surge between 2000 to 3000 rpms. Just notice it in 1st and 2nd gear. Worse in the summer time. Had my car for a year and it has done this since new. Went to Chevy to get it looked at last year and they couldn't find anything wrong. Thinking of getting a CAI soon and hope it helps.

I have a LT1 auto and had a surge in mine between 2000-3500 rpm until I change to higher octane 93. Since running that fuel I don't have any more problems.

Yep, that's the condition. We had some hot weather here,in the 80's 90's and that's when I noticed it. (OK,OK, that IS hot for here in the NW)Anyway,it's annoying but that is about the extent of it.I'll keep an eye on the thing for now. Thanks evrybody.

Red Jewel,I've always run 92 in mine from day one .Glad it helped yours though.
