I took my LT to the garage to hear what a muffler delete would sound like...and I didn't really like it. Too much popping, sounded more like a Harley....but maybe you'll like it.

Three questions for you.

1. Where do you get it done
2. How much is it
3. I might have to visit my northern county to see what it sounds like. Oh wait, that's not a question.

I HATES the stock Camaro mufflers. Hideous things.

General consensus is that a muffler delete = bad, raspy sounds.

I didn't like the stock mufflers either, way too big! The exhaust was the first to be upgraded. I thought about a delete and tried out the LM1, but didn't like either. I opted for the FlowMaster.

Go solo or don't go at all ! Gives you symetric pipes and a sound you can get in an axle back !

Anyone still running on a muffler delete for the V6? And do you like it?

My shop said they will cut out the mufflers and put in straight pipes to see what it sounds like. Then add mufflers later if I don't like it. This was the only thread I found about the delete, so it seems like it probably won't work out well.

It's nice to have options, but should I just skip the delete? :-)

Edit: Nevermind. I did a better search and see a lot of negatives.
