Heard one in person a couple of weeks ago....WOW! Sounds MUCH better in person than on any video I've seen. By this time tomorrow mine will sound just as good!

I have the muffler delete with the Magnaflow resonated X-pipe. It is basically the Magnaflow Comp series minus the stainless and new tips.

I like the way it sounds. It is a lot deeper and somewhat louder, but not obnoxious.

My only problem is a drone at 1900-2000 rpms. It is fairly annoying. It is at it's worse when accelerating slowly under a load.

I have fatmat on order and I am going to line the whole trunk area to see if it helps.

All in all though, I think for about $250-$300 its not a bad deal. The Magnaflow comp series is around $900.00.

Not to be a dick, but that is a really stupid statement. I'm not one to call people out for asking stupid questions, but when you make a stupid statement that can mislead other impressionable people into believing that a tune has ANYTHING to do with rasp in the exhaust you need to be called on it.

Yeah, you're "just sayin" crap you have no clue about and you'd be better off keeping your mouth shut so you don't look stupid.

I have MRT axle back and get the same drone. I also got the fat mat from E-Bay but have not installed it yet.
Anybody else have other ideas on how to stop the 2k drone.

I have the same setup and get the same "drone" in that RPM range. It doesn't really bother me because I either let off or give it more gas. I think just about any cat-back will do this.

Please post if the fatmat helps out. Pics would be good as well.

I will be installing the fatmat tomorrow. I bought some simialr product from Lowes and installed it on the flat part of the trunk, but didn't have enough to do the whole thing. The fatmat is thicker and a different material. I think the key might be to make sure you cover everything. I will let you know.

Eggydoo it is an L99.

how bout deleting the muffler bearings, adding a flux capacitor, convert it over to liquid cow manure, and let granny pose on the hood for a p/r picture. just saying , that thing could be nasty.
