2002 SS Production Numbers by SLP Option
Does anyone know where I can find the number of SS cars made in 2002 broken down by SLP options? I just bought a 2002 SS that has the center mount exhaust and Bilstein suspension, which I think was a pretty rare combination. I was able to find the pre-2002 numbers on the web, but have had no luck for the 2002s.

the vin is classifyed as a z28 on all ss i believe. correct me if im wrong. might wanna call slp they might have the answer for you

There was a guy on ls1tech that had all the info don't know if he is still on there or not. He goes by 01WS6_4_ME on there.
There are a couple of threads on there as well dealing with ASC #'s hope this helps. I got all my info for my T/A from him quite a few years ago. |

Welcome to the rare CME club. I got a complete SLP option breakout from SLP Engineering for the 2001 model year shortly after I received my car, but SLP Engineering was disbanded shortly after the end of the 2002 production cycle. As suggested, you may want to call SLP Performance Parts to see if they have any of that info. Another option would be to purchase a Birth Certificate for your car from SLP which will list the SLP installed options for your car as well as the specific SLP SS build number assigned to it.
