Let me know?

Thanks Blackbee
Sorry I didn't get back sooner. Hrmm...thats a good question. The X I ordered is the 2.25 version...not the 2.5" version, but I figured that was just the diameter of the dual in/out pipes. I was thinking the internal diameter was the same for both...but maybe I'm wrong . Its something I hadn't thought of before.

That is good to hear wolfclan! Wish we could hear that sometime.

Depends how cheap you can get it off of people. I just posted on the forum asking if anyone had spare SS mid pipes and I got several replies. They will go for $100-250. IMO it would be good to swap out your mid pipes, if nothing else it should help performance a little bit.

Here is a video clip. The video is bad but the audio is good. You can hear a tip rattling at the end.

I talked to my muffler man today and the Magnaflow mufflers and x pipe are 2.5" internal, only the inlet/outlet changes size to accomodate the pipe size. Thing is our headpipes appear to be 2.5" as I stated and they fit inside the x pipe inlets, same with the outlets. He also said he put on the 2.5" unit.

yo wolfclan i also have the flowmaster AMT axelback kit on my 2LT, haven't experienced any rasp at least not yet. just out of curiosity, how much do these resonated x pipes run, and what are the expected performance gains from them? hoping to save up some money and get these sometime in the future. if only i could get a break from my college tuition so i could save some money!! lol

Have to say, that sounds really good wolfclan! I'm really loving the BBK + resonated X + (insert whatever mid-level decibel exhaust) combos! OUR BEE's car has this, and now yours and both sound great.

Guess what I love about it is the rumble. Think I'll throw that on the sticky thread.

Hi, Red Maro the resonated x-pipe cost me 87.00 and 70.00 to install. I dont know if there is a performance gain with the x-pipe but with the headers, x-pipe and Flowmasters this car hauls now. I didnt have sound issues with the Flowmaster AT's and stock manifolds till i installed the headers with high flow cats.

I really like the rumble now that its toned down. Now i just need a tune to stop the P0420 codes.

I plan on getting doug thorley shorty headers. i heard that the bbk long tube headers you have to cut into the exhaust piping. I'm not really down to do that lol

I have yet to hear that about the BBK or the ARH. Not sure where you heard that one, I know though on the DTs you have to cut and weld them onto the lower angle just above the cats.
