sideview mirror control lights?

On my 2011 2SS I noticed that the sideview mirror controls are virtually the only thing that is not back-lit. Is it supposed to be? Thanks for your help.

Ummm why would you need those to be back lit? I haven't used mine since I got the car.

I put a little self stick rubber pad, that was supposed to go on a modem or something similar, on my center Homelink button so I can feel it in the dark.

There's also a DIY I saw on here to add lighting to the homelink buttons

I don't NEED it to be backlit, I just wanted to make sure it wasn't something wrong with the car so I could get it fixed while I was still on break and had time. It just seemed odd to me that everything else was.

Thanks for the info guys!

This is one of the very few complaints I have on my Camaro.

+1. Did the same thing - put a small rubber foot on the Homelink button which helps me locate it.

Yep. Home link is a pain. I programmer the one furthest left and now have it memorized. Small light would be great but that self lighting is saying too much effort. Thx for the repost though.
