That just means he doesn't have an RS package. RS SS's are red, SS's without the RS package is white.

The dealer can fix the problem easily - just have them switch it. Takes 5 minutes. When they repainted my deck lid to fix the spoiler chip issue, they put a new RS badge too low on the trunk lip (they have to remove all badging to repaint), so I had them fix it.

Looks great. Where did you get those midnighter?
I couldn't find them anywhere, so I put it on my tag.

http://emblempros.com/badges4 You'll need to get the SS or the RS emblem (which ever your car doesn't have) from the dealer or e-bay. This websight only sells the / (divider). This car in the pic is from their website, not my own car.

I would keep it on there for a while. Its kind of like finding a potato chip that looks like a famous person, you show it off until you don't care anymore, then you eat it.

A guy in my club has a V6 that came from the dealer with a SS badge on the back.

I would leave it alone myself. I don't believe that the general public understands the badging coding system, that this would mean the it's a 6-cylinder...and the Camaro people know better.

Or like everyone else they will just say someone put on the RS. Unless GM can say it came like that, no one will say it came like that.

These are only a few bucks from GM parts. They pop on and off with a adhesive.

sorry nothing that can be easily reproduced like replacing a rs badge and taking off an ss one will ever be of any greater value. It's a cool story but thats about it.
