Well to be honest, my opinion of course.. everyone has there own opinions...

Is that, really, the snow really doesnt do a whole lot as long as its not melting, infact its actually good for the car. When the temps climb, insuring that all the snow is removed before melting occurs is a requirement. This is when the car is stored of course, not driving as I know salt on the roads contridicts what I'm talking about.

Snow = not bad but Rain and snow melting = bad.

Moisture wise, your car will depreciate almost as quick in the garage as it will in the snow bank outside as moisture will still easily get through your garage door.

I think the only guys who completely escape this are the guys who have well heated garages where the warm temperature drys out any moisture coming in.

For the record, my uncle stores his classic dodge challenger in the garage with a car cover and it sits on plastic... Over 30 years stored, it still is getting rust underneath and in the areas where there is no paint protecting the precious metal.

Food for thought really.

EDIT: ANYONE LIVING IN THE ALBERTA AREA, can you post photos of your Camaros if possible as we basically just got our true first snow day today! 11AM and snow is still flying and I have 25cm of snow on the hood of my truck outside right now.
