It sounds real good! But I also remember the ads for the 2010 camaro that were released in mid to early 2009, with about 15 Chevy design people sitting around a U shaped desk trying to decide on the new camaro exhaust notes. But after I got my V8 SS I wasn't that impressed with the final product sound. I hope they don't tweek the ZL1exhaust any cause I could live with the sound I heard from the Chicago auto show.

I agree with you about how I felt when I got my L99 SS. I was coming from a stock SUV so the L99 sounded somewhat mean, but after driving it for a few days I realized it was too quiet for my taste.

Having spent some quality time beind the wheel of an '07 Z06 (equipped with dual-mode exhaust) I have to tell you, even at standard operating temperatures, when that butterfly valve is open, the car sounds like pure sex! Outside/inside it doesn't matter, IMO, it is how a performance V8 automobile should sound!!!

Damn I am getting excited!!! Well done Chevrolet and team Camaro!

I was at the GM dealership for service last year and I had the pleasure of watching the employees move the ZR1 and the Z06 from the showroom to the service department. I got to hear them both start up and be revved.

The Z06 was much louder and more aggressive sounding, even at startup and idle.

I heard a Z06 with a nice cam and LT's when I was at ST Motorsports, and it may have been one of the coolest sounds that I've heard.

Can't wait to be starting these up on the flat-top! I knew I was hearing atomic rumbles from the R&D garage.

Was it as raspy hot as it was cold? I remembering hearing the crackling and popping on the 'Ring videos, but I'd like a little more bark. If it sounds exactly like this video - I'll be totally happy

You're very welcome! I'm a HUGE fan of this system....and apparently you can make homelink control the valves with the help of the aftermarket...so now I'm PSYCHED!!!

I'm imagining lining up at a track, and FLICK *Dual Mode ON*, FLICK *MagnaRide Sport*, FLICK *Launch Control*...hang on!

Like a jet or something...
Are you talking about something like this:
