It sounds real good! But I also remember the ads for the 2010 camaro that were released in mid to early 2009, with about 15 Chevy design people sitting around a U shaped desk trying to decide on the new camaro exhaust notes. But after I got my V8 SS I wasn't that impressed with the final product sound. I hope they don't tweek the ZL1exhaust any cause I could live with the sound I heard from the Chicago auto show.

Having spent some quality time beind the wheel of an '07 Z06 (equipped with dual-mode exhaust) I have to tell you, even at standard operating temperatures, when that butterfly valve is open, the car sounds like pure sex! Outside/inside it doesn't matter, IMO, it is how a performance V8 automobile should sound!!!
Damn I am getting excited!!! Well done Chevrolet and team Camaro! |

The Z06 was much louder and more aggressive sounding, even at startup and idle. I heard a Z06 with a nice cam and LT's when I was at ST Motorsports, and it may have been one of the coolest sounds that I've heard. |

Can't wait to be starting these up on the flat-top! I knew I was hearing atomic rumbles from the R&D garage.
