HOLY FREAKING CRAP are these AWESOME!!!

Mine came in on Tuesday to the paint shop (where my car was....getting some scratches fixed) and we got them painted n' fixed all up. They did an incredible job with the paint and I have to say...they look PERFECT. See...this is what I had envisioned side marker lights to look like. They appear as concept and are brighter than crap (which I LOVE).

I'll take some pix tomorrow and pull the car out. I can't believe I have front side marker lights that have 3 different colors of paint AND are cleared! HA!

These things are completely and totally awesome. I can't thank you enough.

This why I need to have these lights in an OEM version with LEDs. It makes no difference how bright they. Yes they need to be illuminated under dark or night time conditions but they also are required to be reflective. They wouldn't pass here in Indiana I could write an equipment violation for it.

If anyone has them in a stock reflective like OEM with LEDs, let me know, I'm all over them but until then I pass. Look good though!

Side marker lamps became required for large trucks and buses on January 1, 1968, and on January 1, 1969, for all other vehicles. These small lamps are illuminated when the headlights are on and serve as reflectors at other times. The side marker lamps enhance conspicuity such that the would-be-impacting vehicle can take evasive maneuvers. Prior to their introduction, vehicles had no side illumination. A NHTSA analysis7 found that side marker lamps result in a 16-percent reduction in nighttime, side-angle collisions. The effectiveness was slightly higher in accidents with personal injury, at 21 percent, although no fatality-reduction benefit was evident.

They come as stock if you get them unpainted. Orange lens up front and red in the back. You paint them to make them appear as concept markers. They can do them just fine.

Are these markers still amber/red and reflective when they are turned off? I wasn't sure if someone has done that yet with a painted to match marker.

Yes, other than the painted portion these appear stock. Actually, they are just oem modified side markers.

Did mine w/out taking off the bumpers. The fronts are really easy. There's an open spot in the wheel well. Use a flat head to pop those out. The rears, you have reach up if you have long enough arms...lol. If not, you might need to take off the bumper.
