CAM MOD Experience
I thought it might be a good idea to start a thread for people like me that are planning on engine mods in the near future. I am specifically interested in peoples experiences with a new Cam set-up, headers and full exhaust. I know there are countless threads discussing certain set-ups etc, I know because I have looked at most of them and it is all great info. I guess what I am looking for is the Good, the Bad and the Ugly from owners that have been running these set-ups in this car for awhile now. Anything that you have ran into and should consider prior to getting these mods done. Now the only thing I have to answer is why did I get the extended warranty

I know what you mean about "why did I get the extended warranty!!!" I did the same and you can see what I have done so far, I should have just saved the money from the warranty and used it on the mods!!!!

I think I am deffinitly sold on the Kooks, dont ask me why, just am. Noticed you went with Corsa. I am currnently considering the Kooks headers and full exhaust, thought that set-up sounded mean and great quality. Of course that was with a stage 2 cam. Just not sure what else has to be considered with these cam set-ups.

I bought the extended warrany knowing I would never make it on the drivetrain warranty. I bought it for the other things besides the drivetrain. Heated seats, electrics seats, mirrors, radio, etc. The are other things that warranty will cover besides just the drivetrain.
I got a 6/60k with mine.

I didn't buy the EW. Eventually I'm gonna do all the performance mods, but for now just taking it slow with my mods. Going to do all the small stuff first. As for the engine mods, I do like the kooks and stainless works and several of Janetty's power packages
