Yes! Finally someone who is listening to us (the V6-ers). If you guys can pull this off, I'm sure you'd be instantly elevated to rockstar status within the V6 community

Pro Charger would be my product of choice. They make some fantastic and durable product with a great reputation in the marine industry. Never had much experiance with any of the vortec stuff.

Just wondering, but what's easier to design/build & install, SC or TC? I was thinking SC?

To me SC would be an eaisier build if you have the machining slills to build a motor plate to hang it from. I also think tuning would be easier and more consistant than turbos that don't have a mechanical connection to the engine and boost presure tends to vary each time you press the go pedal. boost with a SC sould be more steady. I think most went after the single and twin turbo's do to a "cool factor" and there is a vast assortment of knowledge from the tuner car world to play off of. Twin turbo sound way better than super charger when talking to your buddy's. But I don't trust turbo's. Just my 2cents for the day

I appreciate the effort from Adkins. I would love to have a SC under the hood but it seems like this V6 engine has tons of limitations. Not that they couldn't be overcome. I see so much more out there for the Mustang and imports and it's just frustrating not to see more options. C'mon Suppliers! Really? you don't see the interest? Or the MONEY? The car was only our of commission for 8 years. And now look at it. It's a top seller and just about the most modded car I've ever seen at all levels from the 1LS to the 2SS.

What would be an estimate of the SC price? I think I need to start throwing more money into my savings for this mod

Lingenfelter Update

I called Lingenfelter today, and i asked about the supercharger for the V6 Camaro. They said they are having trouble calibrating the supercharger at the moment but have it on the dyno. They said if it were to come out, look for it by the end of the year. Also they told me they are shooting for 430HP-480HP at the flywheel, not at the rear wheel. I don't no if i should wait for this or just buy the STS turbo.

wonder if they are having the same boost issues the other FI guys are having. That seems pretty conservative numbers wise for FI
