Well I mean some people run them for years without an issue, but some have the motor crap out in a few months. I've never run cutouts personally so I can't say whether they are good or not.

I never have ran them either, but it just seems like the right choice for the OP if he really cares about his neighbors... l

I feel your pain. I fire up at 7:15. LT's, hi flows, CAI and Borla S axleback with a mild-ish cam. She screams after sitting overnight. I'm afraid I'm gonna walk out one morning to a pile of dog sh!t on my hood. Nobody's said anything yet though.

I knew I liked keeping my SS stock... I always say "Enough rumble to know it's a muscle car, but not loud enough to wake the neighbors..."

Me myself, i would get a beater to drive to work. Less miles and rock chips on the camaro, and a sweet sound for the weekends.

The muffler fell off my truck last week, and i loved the sound, but ended up welding it back on today with the neighbors in mind.

If someone told me to think about getting a more fuel efficient vehicle I would go to the gas station and buy 10 gallons of fuel and dump it on their lawn and light it on fire. Then ask how is that for fuel economy. not to mention they are prob driving fully loaded chevy yukons and escalades that are getting 12mpg on a good day.
