Belt squeaking???
I've been trying to track down a sound that until this week has been so intermittent that I couldnt find what it was coming from. At first I thought it might be the rear bumper/diffuser but it appears that isnt the case.
It appears it is the belt, or something attached to it, that squeaks under certain circumstances. I've only had a chance to take a quick look at it and I dont see anything that looks worn and everything is on its track. Is there any sort of adjustment that I can do for this?

I think I might be experiencing the same thing you're describing. It only happens to me sometimes on start up and then you gotta really get close to the engine to hear.
I needed to get my crank pulley replaced and was hoping it would cure this, but no luck. It's a very weird sound and it's very difficult to track down. I was actually discussing this with another member not too long ago. I'll let you know if anything turns up. Btw, have you brought it by your dealer? |

I havent brought it in yet. With my schedule its fairly difficult to arrange a good time to do that. I probably will do so if I cant find a way to track it down and/or adjust it myself.
I still need to put the rear bumper back on since I had it off trying to track a squeak from back there.

Its very high pitched and sounds chirpy when it happens but it usually doesnt stay on long enough to identify. Once or twice I've heard it get much louder briefly but thats about it.
I originally thought it was a bumpy road related squeaking but I think that was just coincidence.
