How many members want a DIY on power passenger seat - Page 4 - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

My wife is my main passenger and wants it NOW!!!!!!says that GM really cheeped out by not having it in the 1st place, I think they should offer something like a credit to install or to buy it AT COST to camaro owners how want this, and if it would have been part of your options, but I won't hold my breath for that to happen!

The passenger seat in the '10 and '11 cars already has some electronics. But it's only 2-way adjustable instead of 6-way adjustable.

I'm thinking the '12 seat probably has the exact same plug-in as the '10 and '11 seats, but is just has the full 6-way adjustable electronics.

I'm hoping no wiring harness is needed

If we can barely put Bluetooth in easily, I shutter to think the process and hoops we will have to go through to bolt in a new seat and plug in a wire! GM will probably make us re program the trunk release, get a new visor mirror, let 3lbs of air from the front tires...oh and not want to sell it to us! LOL

I'm super excited to hear how this all turns out as it's the one beef my wife has about the car. Good luck and please post your progress ASAP!

I would like reverse tilting mirrors like my wife's Maxima. Put the car in reverse and both side mirrors tilt down making it easier to back into parking spots.
