Blacked out my wheels with Plasti Dip, turned out very cool it looks like a different car! Installed powder coated victory red rotofab cold air intake and SCT tuner with Janetty Tune. Up next Loyds mats and powder pro throttle body..

Took it for a drive. Picked up the kids from school, creating all hell in the school car park. A transformers camaro is a very rare beast in Australia.
Back in the shop next week for cold air, dyno and heritage grille.
It's been a long process to get the camaro on the road in Australia since buying it from upstate NY last September!

Got my TCI line lock yesterday. took today of to install it and go to track tonight what a poor design. No on/off power switch? Wtf. You just keep it on all the time? accidentally hit the button and now you got no front brakes because the line is blocked? Poor design. So anyway I hook the thing up and of course put a switch on it. Back out the drive way and into the street to test it. Nothing. Power on. Step on brake hard and hold. push button to engage line lock... Nothing. so ok. maybe i got something loose. Go over the whole wiring. check all connections. all is good. disconnect my switch i put in and try again. nothing. so then i disconnect the solenoid hot and ground and make certain the solenoid is working. well of course it didnt. so i call tech support at TCI.so after about 30 minutes of being on hold i get tech "ricky". so i explain to ricky that i have a bad solenoid. he wants to know how i know its bad? so clearly i explain what i had done before calling for some help/replacement part. well ricky being the tech at TCI tells me "did you try hitting it" i was a little lost for a minute and said yea. with the button. He says no. not the button. hit the solenoid with a hammer or something hard. Maybe it will wiggle free. Again I said well if it requires me hitting it with a hammer to get it to work dont you think something is wrong with it? he says well if you hit it with the hammer or some other tool or wrench and it loosens up it might not do it again. Fyi. I had already tapped on the dam thing. but didnt feel like i needed to tell him that. Anyway after going over everthing with ricky from TCI he says Well you prolly right. You gonna need a solenoid. so i said how soon can you get me one? he says well your gonna have to pay for it. WTF. soi said to ricky from TCI who identified himself as ther head tech. lmfao. Let me get this strait. I just got your line lock product yesterday, took the day of today to play with my toy and put this thing on for the track tonight and your telling me I have to buy thereplacement part that was faulty thay i received yesterday? ricky responded by saying "yep". If you want another solenoid your gonna have to pay for it.
Needless to say. I bought the least exspensive line lock thinking its only a solenoid. what could be wrong with it? well clearly the solenoid. and they want me to pay for a faulty part i got from them. Again what apoorly managed company. I have alread ordered another line lock from another company. but what a pia to go through all that mess to have a faulty part and have some goof who doesnt give a shit about customer service tell me i gotta spend more money to get another solenoid.
Clearly this company doesnt stand behind ther products.
BEWARE of TCI. Scam.
