It was bound to happen...

I left the top down when I went to get my hair cut. Freak storm came in . Interior got very wet. It was sunny when I went in and I never leave the top down. The next client came in just as it started to pour and yelled "the Camaro is getting wet". You don't realize how long it takes to put the top up until you are getting soaked trying .

I had that happen to me in my old wrangler once, just be sure to dry the seats and everything really well. Still sucks though, sorry to hear.

I'm with CooG...if leaving my top down would bring the rain, I would go buy another one to double the chances...

Sorry to hear that you got caught in a "rain storm".

I'm with everyone else from TX, whats this stuff called rain ?
I have not had my car in any rain for the 4 months I have owned it. It's my daily driver and I am not trying to avoid it.

I lived in Ann Arbor for two and a half years and never really got used to the fact that it rains in the summer. One of the few (maybe the only) blessings of living in CA is the weather during summer. I feel for ya. That would break my heart.

Crap dude... Sorry that happened to you. We are falling into a false sense of security here since, as was mentioned, we haven't seen a drop here. In the evenings I drop the top and forget about it... We use to get those quick showers you mention so... I better re-think my habits.

Sorry to hear that. If you lived in Sunny Florida, you'd need a sump pump installed to get rid of the water. Rains every fricken day.
