I would say before you do anything, go to this link http://www.hidplanet.com/forums/show...MH1-quad-retro
that is my car and those are true HID's, not that stuff you get from china off of Ebay. The link will give a jist of what is going on with pictures and explanations of what we had to do to complete the retrofit and I will be able to answer any of your questions on the matter. The kits that you would get off of ebay would not improve your lighting on the roads, they actually decrease the amount of lumens and just blind oncoming traffic. True HID projectors will give you much more usable light and will not blind anybody if they are aimed properly.

This is where i got my HID's...
http://www.vvme.com/ Great price and so far, they've been good for over 6months. Definately increased lighting and visibility. I see alot better/more clear at night now. Position them properly and you wont blind ppl. Ive yet to have any on-coming traffic flash me because of my HID's. Installation is simple, you should be able to knock it out in 30minutes or so for your 1st time. All your doing is installing the wiring kit and swapping out bulbs. Your not getting brand new headlights, just a set of HID bulbs w/wiring harness. Unless you want projector's, then you need a new set of headlights that you can find on ebay (idk where else you can find projectors for a 98-02 body style Camaro). This way you can probably swap out those projector's for ones like kta_27. VVME HID's ship directly from China, are alot better quality then whats offered on Ebay (but cant knock ebay to much, some ppl have had great luck with HID's from ebay). You have a 1yr warranty with VVME, or for $10 more (i think its $10) you can have 2yr warranty.

What year exactly is this for insidethreat07? If it is the 98+ years it will be very easy to retrofit. If you wanted too, my friend and I have a small business with retrofitting headlights for a very good price.
