There is no difference in the CTS-V so I do not see why there would be on the camaro.... but nobody knows for sure yet!

So it really depends on what you want to spend and if you are willing to wait to see what comes next from GM!

ZL1 looks really good in silver but i dont like the SSX wheels on it at all. Probably wont be able to afford it so ill stick to going after a used GT500 or new 5.0 or a G8 GT since the wife really wants a g8 lol

I assume they weigh these cars with not much gas in the tank and nobody in the car. Weighed my car a few weeks ago with a full tank of gas an me in the car.

4120 lbs.

I weigh 190 lbs. And a full tank of gas weighs about 120 lbs.

So with an empty tank gas tank my car is right at 3810 lbs.

With a full tank of gas it's 3930 lbs.

That's with a supercharger.

My headers are lighter, my exhaust is lighter, my coilovers I'm not sure, but my wheels are heavier.

If they weigh these cars with only one or two gallon of gas in them then I am still right at stock weight WITH a blower.

The GT500 is getting a face lift for (2013) with rumored 600hp, GM should make this ZL1 as light as possible, maybe an optional short gears ratio (3.73's) , then it will be a KILLER machine, these will make it a much better performance car for sure! They still got time to do these stuff, so they better get it right from the first time.We want this car to be a GT500 killer no matter what shelby comes out with.

I hope GM is listening.

The 600 hp rumour was replaced by a 620 hp rumour several months ago. Which in turn was replaced by a 650 hp rumour. Which in turn was replaced by a 570 hp rumour. I have no clue what the latest rumour is for the 2013 GT500, but the problem with the GT500 has never been power. Its been traction. Sure, the ZL1 will be heavier but better weight distribution + wider tires + trick suspension + rigid chasis = better traction.

Oh, and GM said back in February that the ZL1 is getting 3:73's
