I hear a good way to blow up an engine is to get an LSX454 and give it some boost. LOL

On the dyno for the maggies they are measuring HP at the wheels.. the LSX454 dyno sheet is at the engine. That is a 15% difference.
Why stop at 6psi. Run 8 or 9 psi on the maggie. These motors can take it all day. I have just supercharger, headers, and meth kit making 610wHP or 700HP at the engine (like LSX454 630HP rating) without meth kit car makes 598wHP. Blower and supporting parts will probably end up being same price but you will make more power with LS3 and a blower.

Now before I get a billion replies that say I have 50,000 miles on my XYZ stock LS motor with a (insert blower name here), consider this. If I take stone stock camaro and add a 300 shot of Nitous it won't hurt the motor if I never use it. Same can be said for 9psi - it works but it ain't right. This is coming from a guy that runs 12lbs on my Vette I driver it normal most of the time so ......... |
