That is the question.

Just laid down some aqua blue hashes on my IBM, and I don't know if I like them or not. I did it to match the interior and what is under the hood. They definitely stand out-- I'm just not sure. These are temporary; I have some aqua blue metallic vinyl ordered and will have it professionally done if I like these, then maybe paint 'em on next year or something. I just don't know how I feel about them.

What do you think?

Do you have stripes on your car? What do you think about striping them? My mom says it looks more "low-profile, expensive and sexy" to leave them without stripes but I think if they are done right they look sexy. Opinions, please!

I got my car stripped, and I think it really adds to the whole sports car look but this is really just a matter of preference. I got the vinyl and I think it looks great, it really contrasts the red and is a color scheme I just generally like. If you could afford it, go the painted route which will cost you probably close to 1500 or more but will look outstanding. For now though I am very pleased with my look.

Mine is currently stripeless and while I do like it, in the future I plan to paint some type of something on it. Not sure what I want yet. Im not a big fan of the hash marks but thats JMO.

The stripes are already there, see pics above-- I'm wondering what people think of how they look. If I like them, like I said, I'll have them painted on when I can afford it.

Big fan of stripes as you can see on my sig pic... me personally I'm just not that crazy about the hash marks, reminds me too much of Dodge...IMO. Do like the color contrast though... personally, I think a hood spear in that blue would look very hot... IMO

I personally don't care for the stripes. However I do like the color combo and if you choose to keep them you should probably change out your side rear vent (or whatever they are called) stripes to match.
