Perfection takes time. If you rush things, you end up with a metra kit.

Yet, we all still have a touchscreen, and your waiting for one...

I can live without a touchscreen, unlike others apparently.

Just talked to a Scosche rep at CES and he seemed to verify what everyone's been saying. He said they worked the bugs out in the 2012 system and they started shipping yesterday. He also said MSRP was $329. Hope this isn't adding more fuel to the fire, but just passing along what he said.

Actually, this is the first time that they've said "they've shipped out." But yeah, seeing is believing. We're 5 weekdays away, via the brown trucks, but folks in Kaliforniastan should be seeing them (and Scoshe's) tomorrow, if that is the case, so one would expect to see pics and gleeful posts from somebody. |

I like the Metra kit. Due to the Camaro dash design they all look out of place. But i will not buy anything that does not cover the car settings. I suppose that means I will be saving $$ by keeping stock.

Got an email from a CS Manager at Scosche saying mine will be shipping to me in 1-2 business days... Dollars to Donuts says they're on their way. Already have the Metra so I'll be comparing side by side. Leaning towards keeping the metra and may just sell my Scosche one. We'll see. Anyway, post some pics & videos when you get yours installed!

Two questions...Where is the best and least obvious place to put the antenna for the nav and will the ipod adapter in the console still work once you add an alpine nav unit? If anybody has any pics where they placed the antenna that would be helpful...

I know you like your metra and the rest of your interir, but damn can you stop posting 5000 pics of your setup. It feels like every thread in this section has a pic of your setup.

I should have my kit mid next week. I confirmed it shipped out of the warehouse earlier this week. Metra doesnt do much for me; I dont care for the buttons at all. I'm glad i held out for the alpine kit. The LCD screen is awesome for A/C controls.
