It would be downright un-american. I think GM would debut this on a Cadillac before ever trying it on the Camaro. And remember, when the option costs "X" to you and me, that means Chevy marked it up ~3x, so their cost has to be engineered in such a way as to not drive the price of the car, literally, through the roof.

That 8 ball answer made me start to laugh in the middle of class haha. It was just a thought mabe on a 6th gen we might see it if they make up for it with shedding some weight off the car first. For now ill stick to the coupe

considering it already costs 5000 more for a convertible i doubt the hardtop would even be attempted to be sold

I hope they fix the ragtop before they spent too much time on the hardtop

Someone did it to a Mustang. It is fugly, nowhere near sleek and makes the rear seats obsolete.

Camaros and Mustangs will always be muscle cars before sports cars and muscle cars have four seats.

I know this is an old thread, but has anyone come across an aftermarket hard top for the 5gen camaro?

I drove a 79MGB for 10 years and during the winter, I had a one pc fiberglass hardtop that I would take out of the garage and replace the soft top for the winter. It worked very well.
