Changing wheel size...redyno??

I'm changing my wheels from 275/35R21 and 245/40R21 to 295/35R20 and 245/45R20 do I need to redyno or do any thing else to the car? I'm pretty sure this is going to throw my ABS and Speedometer off a little but will it be dagerously off?

As long as the overall height of the tire is the same as the old one, then you should be fine. A 275/35/21 is 28.6" tall and a 245/40/21 is 28.7". A 295/35/20 is 28.1" tall and a 245/45/20 is 28.7". So you should be fine with the front ones since they are the same height. The closest 20" tire (depending on the width of your new rims) to your 21" would be a 305/35/20 at 28.4" or a 315/35/20 which is 28.7".

Will not be off enough to justify the cost of another dyno. That is a benefit of a handheld tuner though.

I was thinking about getting one of those, I never did because I don't see how one of those would work well enough to justify that over a dyno (other than price).

Agreed. The rears are getting close to borderline but it's been done with no problems so should be fine to keep stabilitrac in good shape. And the speedometer will be a tad off on he GOOD side to keep him out of trouble.

You sure you can recalibrate that with a handheld? Like ABS/Stabilitrac?

Yes, I use to adjust the wheels and tire size back and forth on my charger R/t often as I would put the stockers on for running.

I didn't even know you could do it with one.

I wouldn't dare try. The SCT is not exactly novice user friendly.
