If the console has been replaced or missing than the RPO codes went with it, and an IROC can have a 110 or 145mph speedo depending on engine option. The best way is to look for the 8 in the VIN for engine, a 5.7L will confirm you have an IROC. An S in the VIN for 89 would be a 2.8 V6.
