ddunerider,

What are you doing with the Rushforth wheels on your car when you get the f14's?

I love those wheels.

Well....pulled the trigger and decided to go with a set of the BFG Comp2. Got a pretty good deal from Discount Tire. Pretty much beat everyone else by at least $50. However, it looks like the $50 BFG rebate might not be good but I'll give it a try anyway. Worst case they tell me no but I don't see why this isn't a rebate from any authorized BFG dealer.

I've talked to several vendors over the last couple days and pretty much everyone has said that these are supposed to be really good tires. One even said that BFG made these specifically for all the new American Muscle that was out.....I guess I'll believe that.

Tires won't be in for a couple days because they don't have any in stock since they are so new. I'll report back what I think. I hope to get out to a race track soon so I can give feed back there as well.

I'm going to have to learn to be a little more gentle on these tires. I only got 11k out of the P-Zeros and hope I can get closer to 15k out of these BFGs.

Just had a set of these delivered yesterday and will mount em today. Since it's raining it'll give me an opportunity to assess them in differing weather conditions (though they wont be broken in yet...factory "glaze" and all).

They will be for the street set ...F-14 and BFG's are for track only...

Think I am going with the General Tire G Max AS 03 as well for my car, looking for a good all season tire, I like to cruise, PZERO's are ok, horrible in the snow and tough in the rain as well. I am a highway driver, don't drive fast that often, if I do mostly on the straight aways, so I think they will fit my driving style.

Just got back a little while ago from getting them put on. I can't comment just yet on the road feel because I've only driven on them less than 5 miles. I will say that I really like the tread pattern. Looks fairly aggressive IMO. It also seems to have alot more meat on it than the P-Zero did new. So far, I would definately recommend them. At this point P-Zero were going for $263 each....BFG was $210.

Any way, here are a bunch of pics for those intrested.

Had em' mounted up Thursday and got a chance to drive with them in the rain as well as dry and sunny weather yesterday. Taking into consideration that they are still a bit "slippery" from the factory I was not disappointed. Rain traction was decent to good and predictable, dry grip was very good and cornering was superior to the pzeros from my experience. Obviously it is easy to break them loose intentinally but recovery was just as easy as on the zeros, perhaps a bit more so. Only other observation is that these are in fact a bit wider than the same size pirellis by about an inch

Those do look a bit "meater". In my area, Discount Tire has them running at $193 for the fronts, $225 rear, compared to the P-zeros at $215(f), $263 (r).

Anyone have any feed back on the handling of these tires? How do they compare to the p-zeros?

Better tire than the PZero IMO. I like them.

I have bought many BFG brand tires from road cars to off road and I love their tires.
