in need of wheels now

Okay this is my first time posting in the wheel section although I continously read in this section.

My question is I'm looking for a forge star wheels (F14)- 20x9.5 20x10.5 deep concave and Atturo tires-275/40/20 315/35/20 I went to a tire shop and the owner told me $3000 for the wheels, valve stem, tires, mounted and balance and all. Does that sound like a fair price? I would have to put a $1000 down and the rest as I go, or I can knock it out. (which ever I chose). I'm not familiar with wheels/tires at all. Just curious to hear what others think about this deal here? Thxs !!!

1850 for just the rims those tires are pretty cheap from what I know. I would say the total price is within a couple hundred of reasonable.

that's hard to answer because some people prefer cheep to actually being good. Some of the best are the pilot super sport and the nitto invo. But there is everything from the toyo proxes st2 and the continental DWS. Are you a daily driver or racing, do you want traction or tire life
