1:1 Cog Drive kit for maggy sc

Anyone with the whine and whistle of the mag tvs 2300 sc cog drive kit...

Does it get annoying?

Really....I know it'll be bad ass at the same time, but is it more of a bothersome noise or is it worth it?

Thanks folks.

I love it and honestly it could be a lot louder and still be fine. I recommend getting the OD set up while your at it, if you want to go faster in the future.

Your only going to notice it when you are laying into it and getting up into boost and it is at these times that you will enjoy the beauty of boost whine

The sound is oh so sweet. I get lots of compliments. It doesn't get annoying at all...in fact, after driving it for a while, it sorta disappears into the background.

I can't wait to get a maggie with a cog kit. It is the only reason I am getting a maggie, when I can afford it. My cam doesn't work with a maggie, but it will work with vortech and procharger. But I love the sound of the cog.

Thanks guys! I've still got some saving to do, but my goal is to have Livernois do the installation next April or May. I always wanted the cog drive whine...just thought I'd bounce it off some of ya.

Is the cog drive only for the sound, or can I help slip issues in the future if I want more boost.

yes it will help slip because you can add boost by changing pulleys on the back....mine is 1 to 1 ratio...so no additional boost....trust me that cog belt wont slip either

Well, can't argue with the first handers in this thread.

I actually haven't gotten the kit because I heard a video with one and it drove me nuts watching the vid. lol

But I might have to take a second look. Could be the video made it sound louder and more annoying.
