Chevy Laser Imaged Courtesy Door Lights Installed

Just wanted to post a few pics of the Chevy Bowtie Courtesy Door Lights I installed yesterday . Wasn't hard at all but you do have to make sure where your drilling . Not much for clearance inside the door it's self but where I placed mine it was fine . I have some measurements if anyone is interested .

The night pics I took don't do these lights justice.. I'll try to retake them when I have the car out the garage . The Bowtie is Very detailed and looks just like the one on our Camaro .

I got these from Andrew6 when he was doing his group buy last week . Andrew has been nothing but helpful answering all my questions that I had with this install . Here is the link http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=220328

What wire did you tie into to get the light to work when you open the door?

had my door panels off this week to install new speaker and looked to me that they could mount in the door panel itself with plenty room. Dont know the lenghts of the lights, maybe 3" or so.

I tied it into the ABL wires but I may go back and have it wired to have 12 volts all the time . Right now it just comes on when door is open for maybe 15 seconds or when the light switch is turned on.

I put mine in the door panel ,had no trouble . I did have to trim some of the styrofoam insulator.
I wired mine into the abl lights and put a small switch in the door panel pockets to turn them off, otherwise they would be on anytime the abl lights are on.

I am waiting for something different other than the bowtie and cheverolet wording. Hoping that something comes out with an SS or Camaro on it instead.

I know it's in the works , I plan on taking these out myself and replacing them with something Camaro related when they're released.
